The 65th Gurdwaras Cup & Sikh Festival Of Sports 2016 was declared open by Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Mohamad Hasan in the Seremban yesterday (1 June 2016).
Perak comes to the annual Sikhs games for Malaysia and Singapore as the defending overall champions, the first time it won the title in the games history. It wrested the top spot from the Kuala Lumpur team, traditionally the strongest team.
Negeri Sembilan Sikh Union (NSSU) is playing host to the five-day sporting event.
The games organised by Malaysian-Singapore Sikh Sports Council (MSSSC), with its state affiliates, involve teams from Perak, Kedah, Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Johor, Singapore and PDRM Police.
