Path da Bhog: 28 Feb 2016 at Gurdwara Sahib Tanjung Tualang | Malaysia

By Inderpreet Kaur
Nanth Kaur, wife of late Sardar Inder Singh Dakhoa, passed away at the age of 98. Better known as Nanthi, she was one of the oldest Sikh ladies in the Sikh settlement in Tanjung Tualang, Perak.
She carried the principles of Sikhi in her living. A motherly figure, she leaves behind a long line of descendants: 7 children, 21 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Despite her age, she had no medical illness and never ceased to be active in her work. She emphasised on eating healthily, including taking roasted garlic after meals, and cumin seeds every other day.
In the last few years, she ambulated with assistance of a wheelchair. But that did not dampen her high spirits to be active in the lives of her children.
She showed her principles in actions and made sure anyone who came to the house was given the best care.
Nanth Kaur left for the loving arms of Guru on 18 Feb 2016. The path da phog will be on 28 Feb 2016 at Gurdwara Sahib Tanjung Tualang.
