Gurdwara Sahib Petaling Jaya (GSPJ) stands ready to serve the Sikh and broader North Indian community—across Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya—with comprehensive funeral, preparation and hearse services.

Driven by Sewa, Not Profit: GSPJ operates entirely on non-profit, non-commercial principles. Behind these services are dedicated Sewadars working around the clock, motivated purely by compassion to ease your emotional and logistical burden so you can focus on prayer, family, and remembrance.

Free Services & Inclusive Facilities: All facility services are provided free of charge to Panjabis (including Sikhs, Hindus, and others of North Indian cultural background). Our fully equipped facilities include:

• Bathing & Preparation Rooms: Clean, hygienic areas with proper ventilation, fans, and stocked essentials (soaps, towels, cotton, bandages, gloves).
• Complete Saskaar Supplies: On-site access to Kaffan, Kakkars, Guthli, Dastar, and spare coffins, saving families from searching for items during a crisis.
• Comfortable Wake & Path Area: A serene, air-conditioned space with ample seating and a sound system for prayer gatherings.
• Reliable Hearse Service: Meticulously maintained vehicles ready to serve locally or nationwide at a moment’s notice.

Direct Cost Breakdown: To keep arrangements transparent and affordable, families only cover the basic cost of materials and transport:

• Hearse Rental: RM60 / day
• Kafan (White Cloth): RM70
• Tin of Ghee: RM40
• Coffin Options: RM200 – RM2,000

Note: For families facing severe financial hardship, all costs are completely waived.

Families are kindly asked to bring the deceased’s personal clothing and a large personal towel.
