  1. Non Sikh NGOs are offering scholarships. What about Sikhs-Sikh NGOs-Sikh Gurdwaras-Multi-millionaire Sikh Companies/Individual and existing Scholarship funds which also should also be highlighted on a regular basis so that needy qualified Sikh youths can apply and become professionals who can then give enhance the name of the community?
Change of mindset is needed to expand the use of Trust funds to activities other than just have more and more langgars and kirtans and expand buildings/facilities even in cases where there may be little need due to small number of Sanggat.
Examples may include Police who have three Gurdwaras in KL alone wheres KG Pandan has two within one mile of each other.

Another need is TRANSPARENCY of ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR ALL TO SEE AND NOT JUST LIMITED TO REGISTERED MEMBERS.

Sardar Harnek Sing Ji disclosed about Sentul that ‘this Gurudwara will set an example of how a Gurudwara should be operated, revenue to he used, open accounts books for all to view [Comment dated 25.7.17 when congratulating seasoned criminal lawyer Rajpal Singh who has been elected to head the Sentul Gurdwara Management Committee (GMC) while former president Sathwan Singh will assume the vice president post.]

‘GMC’ should now advise how and when the ‘open accounts books for all to view’ policy will be implemented and this info can be provided in the Asia Samachar and I like many others will look forward to this new change in the mindset of the ‘GMC’ which can then be followed by other ‘MC’ of Gurdwaras and NGOs.

Apologies if any one were to misunderstand my comments.
