Klang Rangers emerge champs for Malaysian Sikh under-16 soccer league

Klang Ranger top Akaal Premier League (APL) league, while Bukit Beruntung beat Pulapol to win the U-13 league

Klang Rangers emerged champions for the first time at the Akaal Premier League (APL)  when they overcame strong attacking by Selayang Sardars in the under 16 league.

For the Under-13, Beruntung Hill Twin Lions topped the league after beating Pulapol Eagles in their final league game. They won 3-2, after being down by two goals.

This is the first time that they league, which began in 2015, was split into two categories.

Pulapol Eagles were the champions in 2015 and 2016.

APL, a Malaysian-made futsal league held in Kuala Lumpur for Sikh boys and girls, is organised by the Akaal Sports Academy (ASA), a sports non-government organisation headquartered at the Wadda Gurdwara Sahib Kampung Pandan in Kuala Lumpur.
