Businessman and community leader Jasvir Singh Chohan has been reappointed as a councillor of the Bentong Municipal Council for the 2026/2027 term.
The Gurdwara Sahib Bentong former president will continue representing local interests at the Pahang municipal body, working with residents, government agencies and community organisations on issues affecting the district.
His public service role has also been extended at the state level. In a separate appointment, Pahang Menteri Besar Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail renewed Jasvir’s term as Special Officer for the Sikh community until June 30, 2027.
