Deaf, mute Balwant missing from Serdang hospital

A deaf and mute 65-year old Balwant Singh has gone missing after he was discharged from Hospital Serdang in Selangor on Sept 4.

He was admitted to the hospital for suspected dengue fever, but was said to be have been discharged with no family member present, according to a message from a family member.

“We are still looking for him. He has been living with my mum [his sister],” Ervin, his niece, when contacted by Asia Samachar today.

Balwant was last seen wearing a white shirt and a black pants, and is probably bear footed.

In a Facebook message, one family member said that Balwant ‘is an OKU-Disabled (can’t speak, hear, understand or read anything)’.

“We have looked for him everywhere around the hospital and outside the hospital area but he’s nowhere to be seen.”
