CMSO call-for-action to discuss new research on Sikhs in Malaysia

A call-for-action letter from the Coalition of Malaysian Sikh Organisations (CMSO) to discuss a newly completed research project on the Sikh community in Malaysia.

Gurfateh ji,

The PMO gave the Coalition of Malaysian Sikh Organisations a small grant to conduct research on the Socio-economic status and Social Issues of the Sikh Malaysian Community. The Research has been completed.

The Coalition now invites leaders of all Sikh Organisations, Gurduaras, Sikh Intelligentsia and anyone else interested for a meeting to discuss the Research Report with a view to identify strategies to manage the issues raised. We hope to present the Report and deliberations of the upcoming meeting to the PMO and other agencies as soon as possible with budget proposals in time for the National Budget.

YOU are cordially invited to participate in this meeting as your input is required to make this a success.

  1. The meeting is open to all interested in the future of the community in Malaysia. Individuals and representatives of Gurduaras and Sikh Organisations are equally welcome. I am getting calls asking whether individuals can attend in their personal capacity. Of course they can. Thank you.
