Excitement and shouts were up in the air as six kabaddi teams faced off each other in a kabaddi tournament in Kuala Lumpur today.
The 2nd Kabaddi Tournament at Kelab Aman attracted a good crowd of spectators, mostly foreign workers from Punjab, India.
“I came to see the players. They are pretty well known. They play all over, Canada and other countries,” one foreign worker from Punjab tells Asia Samachar.
“These players were brought down specifically for the games. We, the foreign workers here, have our own separate tournament,” added his friend.
The event, organised by Azaad Kabaddi Club and Sikh Welfare Society Malaysia, was broadcast live at Kabaddi365.com.
