AT Capital keen to build residential complex in Amritsar

AT Capital, a Singapore-based private investment firms, has evinced interest in setting up a holistic residential complex and a skill development centre in the university town of Amritsar in Punjab, reports PTI.
 
Its CEO CEO Arvind Tiku conveyed the company’s interest to Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh at a meeting yesterday (20 June 2017), in which Tiku was said to be accompanied by Experion Developers Pvt Ltd CEO Rakesh Kaul.
 
The Rs 1,000 crore company has around 100 acres of land close to National Highway 1 in Amritsar, where it plans to develop a residential project to provide affordable housing for the poor and accommodation for students. It also proposes to set up a senior living complex to cater to the large community of NRIs from Punjab, the report said.
 
Going forward, the company wants to build similar projects in other university towns such as Patiala, Jalandhar and Ludhiana, the report quoted an unnamed spokesperson.
