Khalsa Diwan Malaysia (KDM) is sponsoring 20 participants to the inuagural Asean Sikh Economic & Entrepreneurship Summit (ASEES) 2017 ot be held in Kuala Lumpur next month.

“We hope to encourage participants from Perak to attend the event,” KDM President Santokh Singh told Asia Samachar in a telephone conversation.

Successful applicants will be informed by 30.6.2017. Expenses for transport and lodging to be borne by participant and attendance is compulsory if selected.
ASEES 2017, taking place at the Securities Commission Malaysia headquarters in Kuala Lumpur on 8-9 July is presenting many high profile Sikhs, including Indian economist Montek Singh Ahluwalia and Punjab state finance minister Manpreet Singh Badal.
It is the maiden summit for the the newly formed Asean Sikh Chamber of Commerce. Asia Samachar is a media partner of the two-day event.
