A legal talk and legal clinic will be held at Gurudwara Sahib Mantin, Negeri Sembilan, on Saturday (14 Oct 2017)
The talk, organised by Ekta Club, a grouping of Sikh professional women in Malaysia, will focus on family law issues, to be followed by a legal aid clinic. The programme begins at 5pm.
The speakers are Dr Daleleer Kaur Randawar, a senior lecturer from UITM’s law faculty, and Harmeet Kaur Hoondal.
The Ekta Legal Aid Committee headed by Dr Jashpal Kaur and other Ekta members will be available to offer their legal service and advice.
Ekta hopes that members of the Sikh community will support the initiative and attend the talk and the legal Clinic.
Ekta is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) set up to empower Sikh women and create awareness of women rights.
