Located in the centre of Lancashire, Preston has a population of 140,202, making it the third city of the North West of UK, after Manchester and Liverpool.

The Mayor of Preston, a North West UK city, joined the Sikh community on Sunday (24 Feb 2019) to mark two years of putting on an Asian food kitchen for the homeless.

Anyone is welcome to attend and eat at the Langar which takes place on the last Sunday of each month under the cover of the Fish Market canopy, reports Blog Preston.

Mayor of Preston councillor Trevor Hart joined the Sikh kitchen crew to help dish up to all those in need of a hot meal.
