Lawyer Rejinder Singh Dhaliwal was reelected as president of the Sant Sohan Singh Ji Melaka Memorial Society Malaysia at its annual meeting last week.
Rejinder, who runs a Kuala Lumpur-based law firm, was elected at the society’s 52nd AGM to serve for the 2024-2026 period.
Rejinder, who has been serving as the president of Vidyala since 2018, and his team have introduced innovative ways to connect with the sangat through virtual platforms, online Sikhi studies, CSR projects, nationwide parchaar sewa, engaging with the youth, and conducting revision courses.
The E-Sikhi studies programme, launched in November 2023, is meant to be a platforrn to create a learning environment at the comfort of one’s home.
The society, established in the memory of the respected granthi-parcharak Baba Sohan Singh, is based in Malacca.
