SINGAPORE: Seventeen saroops of Sri Guru Granth Sahib (SGGS) arrived at Changi Airport, Singapore, this morning.

The awaiting Sikh sanggat took the saroops respectfully to Gurdwara Sahib Silat Road, which will house the saroops until they are required by other gurdwaras or individual families.

Some of the saroops, which came from Amritsar, are meant to replace older copies of the SGGS which have been sent for saskaar.

Though it was early in the morning, there was a large sanggat awaiting the arrival of the SGGS saroops.

The procession of the saroops were escorted by Singapore Punjabi Bikers, according to a  post by SikhInside on its Facebook page this morning. – ASIA SAMACHAR (19 Jan 2015)
