As soon as they heard about the major fire incident at the largest hospital in Johor Bahru, a group Sikhs brought some food items for patients and staff who were forced to vacate the hospital.
Six patients were killed in the fire at Sultanah Aminah Hospital, which started just before 9am today (25 Oct).
Johorean Sport Fan Club ran a short note and some photos of the Sikhs bringing the food items to the hospital.
It’s note reads: Sedikit perkongsian.. siang tadi.. sumbangan dari GUDWARA SAHIB JOHOR SIKH kepada pesakit-pesakit Hospital Permai.. tidak dinafikan lagi.. tiada sifat perkauman dalam kebajikan yang mereka lakukan.. Makanan untuk 100 orang dan 20 kotak air minuman.. Syabas! Sumber – GUDWARA SAHIB JOHOR SIKH.”
Leading the team was Gurdwara Sahib Johor Bahru (GSJB) committee president Manjeet Singh.
