Singapore-listed Axcelasia Inc, an integrated professional services firm helmed by two Malaysian Sikhs, will acquire Malaysia-based business and corporate governance consultancy firm Audex Governance Sdn Bhd for RM2.88 million.

This is Axcelasia’s first acquisition since its listing on the Singapore Exchange Catalist Board on 27 November 2015.

Kuala Lumpur-headquartered Audex has 30 qualified risk consultants and internal auditors who specialise in corporate governance and risk management, Axcelasia said in a statement released to the Singapore stock exchange.

Tax expert Dr Veerinderjeet and audit expert Ranjit Singh, together with Peter Tang, were the key promoters of Axcelasia.

Established in 1998, Audex is said to have a track record of having served many multinational corporations and public-listed companies across the Asia Pacific region.

Axcelasia provides integrated professional services mainly in Malaysia to government-linked entities, private and public listed companies and multinational corporations. Its four key business segments are tax advisory, business consultancy, enterprise management system application and business support.
