My tribute and salute to someone whom I deeply respected – Tar…My first cousin… Born to my mother’s sister from Parit Buntar, Perak, daughters to our beloved grandpa Late Hazara Singh from village Abhipur off Chandigarh, punjab.
We shared a brief journey together on this planet Earth, walking hand in hand. I cherish the memories of our childhood when we played games like shooting and stealing rambutan in the streams of Rubber Estate, and when we became woodcutters to our Late Nana ji. Those were the days that I will always remember fondly. I still recall how you travelled all the way from Sri Ganga Nagar to meet me at Palam Airport in New Delhi when I first arrived in India, and accompanied me to my village in Punjab. You offered me some valuable advice about being careful in India, which has stayed with me since then. We both grew and prospered in Malaysia, starting families and making the most of our lives. However, today, my heart is heavy as I bid farewell to you, my brother. I salute the bond that we shared and hope that you are in a better place than this world. ????
