As Akaal Premier League (APL) progresses into its final leg, more quality performance and techniques are displayed by the young players on the futsal field in Kuala Lumpur.

The boys and girls of the league, now into its second year, are showing a more matured, controlled, exciting and unpredictable game.

APL is a Malaysian-made futsal league for Sikh boys and girls with 8 players under 13 and two players under 14. It started off last year as an under-12 league. The games are played at the Wadda Gurdwara Sahib Kampung Pandan futsal field.

Season favourite Klang Rangers were defeated by Titiwangsa Panther (0-2), which was a rude awakening for the Rangers.

Despite losing this match, they still held their position at number two after Match Day 6. But this defeat has put a greater distance in overall points between the Klang Rangers and the undefeatable Pulapol Eagles.

Pulapol Eagles are still in the lead with 34 points and top scorer position is still in their grasp thanks to Akeysh Singh with a total of 34 goals. However. with only two more matches before the season end, they are a little apprehensive of losing the title because Kabir Singh from Selayang Sardar who is closing in to the top scorer position.

With much at stake and every player giving his 100% on the field, Naam Medic had an eventful day nursing many injured players on Match Day 6.

Match day 7: Nov 6 (Sun)
Match day 8: Nov 20 (Sun)
