It’s exactly 10 days to Avaaz 2017, what promises to be a mesmerising night in Kuala Lumpur with international sensation Devender Pal Singh.

Devender Pal was one of the final contestants in India’s biggest musical reality show Indian Idol season six on Sony TV. During the show, his singing was acclaimed by Indian legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar.

His success as an Indian Idol has spurred his career as a recording artiste with a range that spans Bollywood music, Punjabi songs, fusion combinations as well as his original love of Gurbani.

Avaaz 2017 is also a night of talent discovery as top songbirds of first ever local talent quest take the stage with Devender Pal.

A number of local talents had submitted their video to be among the five, selected by Devenderpal Singh himself, to perform with him at the show at Galaxy Hall Sentul in Kuala Lumpur.

The event is staged as a sit down dinner-show with tables at RM4,000, RM2,400, RM1,600 snf RM1,000.

Proceeds from ticket sales for Avaaz 2017 will be used to fund some future programmes of the Coalition of Malaysian Sikh Organisations (CMSO), including the Kuala Lumpur Punjabi Arts and Film Festival (KLPAFF) to showcase budding Sikh talents and help realise their full potential.

Avaaz 2017 helps kick off the discovery of local singing sensations, yet undiscovered, and provide them an opportunity to share the stage with Indian Idol Devender Pal Singh. This will be followed up by workshops on vocals to nurture their talent, according to information on the event at its Facebook page.
