How can I become sachiaar? The root word of sachiaar is SACH. SACH means TRUTH. In Gurbani, when the word SACH is used, it refers ONLY to GOD. The existence of GOD is the ONLY TRUTH of the whole Universe.
What is KOOR? Everything created by GOD falls in the category of KOOR. Therefore the whole of Creation is KOOR. The literal meaning of KOOR is rubbish / something that has little value / impermanent.
Why is Guruji calling the whole Creation of GOD as KOOR?
KOOR here refers to anything with a temporary existence. It is time-bound. It exists for a limited period of time and then gets destroyed.
The whole of Creation falls into this category and its existence is only temporary. The only ONE who is out of this category is GOD. Therefore HE is the only ONE who lives forever.
How do I become SACHIAAR ?
Human beings are the only species in GOD’s creation that has been blessed with a discerning mind and therefore given a CHOICE. We are made up of two parts: 1) Physical Body, 2) Jyot.
Our physical body is part of the Creation and therefore it is temporary. One day it will die and disappear from the face of the Earth.
Jyot: This is the spark of GOD in us. This is the part of us that lives forever.
The choice GOD has given us is: Remain connected only to your physical body and get destroyed with time; or, build that connection with the TRUTH inside you and get the chance to live forever.
How do I become SACHIAAR?
I become sachiaar when I recognise which part of me is KOOR and which part of me is the REALITY that lives forever. When this realisation comes to me and I begin my journey to connect with the TRUTH inside me, then I am on my way to becoming a sachiaar.

The Creation is not false, but it is temporary.
The word KOOR is used in Gurbani to show the temporary nature of the Creation. Only the Creator is permanent and therefore referred to as SACH or the eternal TRUTH.
The universe or world is not false.
In fact its a garden. Eh jag sacheh ki heh kothree, sache ka vich vaas.
What is Koor is our egoistic mind being attached to things in an extremely harmful way.
