Malaysia Airlines to fly daily to Amritsar starting Aug 1

Malaysia Airlines will be increasing flights from Kuala Lumpur to Amritsar to 7x weekly, starting from Aug 1, at RM988 all-in return economy class.​ For business, its RM1,988.

The airline had previously raised its service frequency from two to four weekly flights to Amritsar in January 2024, reflecting the growing market confidence.

This increase in frequency will bring the total number of Malaysia Airlines’ weekly flights in India to 71. 

Amritsar, which was introduced as a new route in November 2023 along with Ahmedabad and Trivandrum, is part of the airline’s strategic expansion in India. The frequency on the Trivandrum route was also recently increased to four times weekly starting April 3, 2024, reports the Travel And Tour World website.

Malaysia Airlines’s network in India consists of nine major cities: New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Amritsar and Trivandrum.
