Singapore teenage racer Kareen Kaur began her 2026 racing season with a strong outing at the Asia Classic Car Challenge, taking a class win as she prepares for a full Formula 4 campaign with Evans GP.

In a LinkedIn post, Kareen said the weekend was her first car race of the season and served as useful preparation before the Formula 4 season begins. She qualified first in class and fifth overall, before finishing Race 1 in the same positions. Her second race ended in a ‘Did Not Finish’ (DNF) due to a mechanical issue.

“The goal wasn’t just about the results, but to get more race experience in a car and understand how it feels compared to an F4, especially driving without downforce,” she wrote.

Kareen, 15, is recognised as Singapore’s first female Formula 4 driver. In April, Asia Samachar reported that she had signed with Evans GP as its third driver for the 2026 Southeast Asia Formula 4 Championship, joining Rafael Vaessen and Ben Nguyen.

She made her F4 debut in 2025 in selected rounds of the F4 Indian Championship, where she recorded multiple top-10 finishes, and also made a one-off appearance in the Southeast Asian series at Sepang.
