Sikhs serving in the Malaysian police and armed forces, together with retired personnel, attended Warriors’ Day (Hari Pahlawan) prayers at Gurdwara Sahib Pulapol in Kuala Lumpur on Aug 9, 2026.
Malaysia observes Warriors’ Day annually on July 31 to honour the bravery, service and sacrifice of the nation’s military and law enforcement personnel. The commemoration pays tribute to fallen soldiers, police officers and veterans who defended the country’s sovereignty, including during the Malayan Emergency, as well as those who have served in modern peacekeeping missions.
