A 25-year old accounting lecturer in Singapore has just released a book on the subject.
Ravpreet Kaur Mann, an ACCA affiliate who began teaching Principles of Accounts at 16, is the co-author of “Master Principles of Accounts”.
Her passion for teaching and accounts has taken her through many adventures. Today, she lectures on accounts for students at various levels, from O levels to university undergraduates and ACCA full time professionals, in Singapore.
She is well known as the A-For-POA (Principles of Accounts) specialist.
Having also taught as a teacher in a school in the past, while juggling her ACCA lessons and tutoring, she is a master at the art of excelling at whatever she undertakes.
Ravpreet is married to Malaysian-based lawyer Sachpal Singh, the Managing Partner of the Kuala Lumpur-based law firm Radzi Sheikh Ahmad & Sachpal.
The firm’s senior partner is the former Malaysian Home Minister Radzi Sheikh Ahmad.
These days, Ravpreet juggles her time commuting between their home in Woodlands Singapore, her tutoring in Singapore and starting up her tutoring business in Kuala Lumpur while also helping her husband to manage his law firm.
In between her hectic schedule, she managed to author a book for students and her aspiring A-For-POA students alike.
“Master Principles of Accounts” is now available at bookstores in Singapore and would soon be available in Malaysia.
“I hope students would find her book useful as many countless hours and sleepless nights has gone into producing this masterpiece,” she said.
She is already planning her next book.
Author Roopal Kaur is the sister-in-law of the Ravpreet.
