English-Punjabi dance drama to raise funds for Shah Alam gurdwara, Astana

Dhadheewala Production’s maiden dance bilingual drama ‘Kaur – The Sword of A Lioness’

A dance drama presented in both English and Punjabi will feature for the first time in Kuala Lumpur on 13 May 2017.

‘Kaur – The Sword of A Lioness’ will take place at the Temple of Fine Arts in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur, at 7pm.

The show is the produced by the newly-formed Dhadheewala Production, a production house that hopes to encourage the Sikh community to develop interest and passion for performing arts.

“We are raising funds for Gurdwara Sahib Guru Nanak Shah Alam (GSGNSA) and the Malaysian Performing Arts Society (Astana),” Dhadheewala Production managing director Priscilla Kaur tells Asia Samachar.
