Setia City Sikhs (Setia Alam) in Selangor had a family day event on the 11 June 2017. This is the fourth consecutive year to get all the Sikh families there together in sports.

There was a range of sporting activities for both adults and kids ranging from tele-match, futsal, captain ball, athletics, tug of war, game stalls, inflatables and even a magic show. A badminton tournament was also held prior to the family day.

Breakfast and lunch plus bites were served. Close to 200 people attended this family day.

Besides Setia City residents, they had 50 kids from two homes: Gurpuri and Philea Home. Members of Sangat contributed towards the donation box and a contribution of RM1,000 was handed over to each one of the homes as a token from Setia City Sikhs.

As there was no fee charged for the participants, individuals helped finance the event.

The Organizing Committee wishes to thank all sponsors and participants to make this event a success. ”
