Students and staff of the Guru Khalgidhar School in Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia. The photo was published in the Phulwari magazine of March 1934, according to an entry at Panjab Digital Library at its Facebook.

Ipoh was spelt as Epu in the Facebook entry.

The headmaster and head mistress of the school for many many years was a husband and wife team. Master bhag Singh from Tallewal Barnala and his wife stayed in the school compound from the 1950s to 1970s, according to a response from a reader.

When Master Bhag retired, his wife took over as the head of the school, the reader added.
