Malaysian real estate developer Lagenda Properties Bhd has appointed Jasrinderjit Singh Dhillon as its chief executive officer (CEO), with effect from today, Jan 1, 2026.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said the appointment is intended to further strengthen its executive leadership team and support the board of directors in driving Lagenda Properties’ strategic priorities.
Lagenda Properties, which is listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia, focuses on the development of affordable housing and integrated townships, with an emphasis on serving underserved communities across Malaysia.
Jasrinderjit, 35, joined Lagenda Properties in 2018 and, prior to his elevation, served as head of investments, strategy and corporate relations. During this period, he played a central role in shaping the group’s growth strategy and corporate positioning.
He began his professional career as a corporate lawyer at Wong & Partners, a member firm of Baker McKenzie, where he advised clients on complex cross-border mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, joint ventures and corporate restructurings. He later joined Quantephi Sdn Bhd, where his work focused on mergers and acquisitions, distressed restructurings and refinancing exercises.
As CEO, Jasrinderjit will provide enterprise-wide leadership across key group portfolios, including corporate strategy and business expansion; mergers and acquisitions, land acquisitions and joint ventures; capital markets and fundraising initiatives; governance, investor relations and sustainability strategy; as well as broader stakeholder engagement.
