Toluna has appointed market research and insights leader Gurtej Singh Nagpal as managing director and country head for Singapore.
In his new role, Gurtej will lead Toluna Singapore’s next phase of growth, with responsibility for strengthening strategic client relationships and advancing the integration of technology, artificial intelligence (AI) and human insight across its offerings.
Toluna said Gurtej brings a strong regional and global background, shaped by senior leadership roles at Ipsos Singapore and NielsenIQ Singapore, where he built deep expertise in key account leadership, commercial growth, insights consulting and team transformation.
He spent close to eight years at both corporations, working across complex, multi-market environments in the Asia-Pacific region.
Announcing the appointment, the US-based consumer intelligence firm described Gurtej as a transformation leader with a proven track record of building growth engines and restoring performance in diverse and challenging markets across APAC.
Toluna provides real-time consumer intelligence by combining advanced analytics, proprietary technology platforms, and human-centred research to support client decision-making across industries.
Gurtej holds a full-time MBA in marketing from Nanyang Business School, where he graduated on the Dean’s Honours List. He also holds both a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Mumbai.
