Ranjit Singh, a top notch Malaysian audit expert and partner in a Singapore-listed firm, has signed up for an entrepreneur bootcamp coming to Kuala Lumpur later this month.
What attracted him to the three-day Entrepreneur Startup Bootcamp, organised by the Coalition of Malaysian Sikh Organisations (CMSO), which starts on 25 March 2016?
“I am interested in top international business school executive programmes in view of the case study approach of learning,” he tells Asia Samacar.
Ranjit, the Gurdwara Sahib Kajang management committee president, is also the group executive director of Axcelasia Inc, a Malaysian incorporated company listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange.

He is also a visiting Professor of Entrepreneurship at the INSEAD Business School. On the Sikh community front, he been conducting entrepreneur bootcamps in Australia, organised by the Sikh Youth Australia (SYA).
Ranjit is not coming alone. He is sponsoring his sister and nephew, both ACCA qualified with five to six years of working experience.
“I believe we need to provide opportunity to the youngsters to experience the learnings of top international business school such as INSEAD.
“I believe the camp will be able to enhance the entrepreneurship, leadership and critical thinking skills of individuals which are important skills required to be a successful entrepreneur,” he said.
Ranjit is encouraging fellow Sikh brothers and sisters not to miss the ‘rare opportunity to learn from the expert facilitators’ like Ash and Kirpal.
