Minutes after realising that fire was raging in one part of Sultanah Aminah Hospital in Johor Bahru, Dr Amarpreet Kaur sprang into action to assist patients.
She joined other hospital staff and rescue workers who heroically went to the aid of the victims of the fire on Tues (25 Oct) which killed six patients.
“She was around the ICU ward hardly 10 minutes before the fire,” one family member told Asia Samachar.
Johor Southern Tigers, a news portal for the state football team, ran a photo showing the 25 year old doctor in action, assisting a patient on a wheelchair.
