The Sikh Naujawan Sabha Malaysia (SNSM) Perak women’s division led some 45 Sikh ladies for a tour of Johor gurdwaras.
They left from Wadda Gurdwara Sahib Ipoh yesterday (30 March 2018). Today, they made a pit stop at Gurdwara Sahib Tampin in Negeri Sembilan, before proceeding to Johor, the southern most state in Peninsular Malaysia.
Today, they will visit gurdwaras in Kluang, Johor Baru, Pointian and a dera (Sikh-run centre) in Machap. Tomorrow, they will visit gurdwaras in Batu Pahat and Muar.
“Everyone is excited and highly energised,” Ranjit Kaur, a retired matron who is in the organising team, told Asia Samachar.
