Malaysia SME, a fortnightly magazine dedicated to covering the small-and-medium-enterprises (SMEs) scene, has appointed Rupinder Singh as an editor. He will be responsible for the publication’s pull-out focussing on large firms.

He brings to job more than 14 years of experience in business journalism, with his most recent stint as the deputy business editor at The Sun, a Malaysian free English newspaper. Prior to that, he was a senior writer at Business Times, the business pullout of the New Straits Times.

Rupinder is also an active social worker having served as a volunteer at camps run by the Sikh Naujawan Sabha Malaysia (SNSM), a Sikh youth organisation.
