Air Asia made history once again as for the first time in Air Asia and perhaps in Malaysia two young Sikh women piloted Air Asia Flt AK 19 to Jaipur on 15 May, 2024. Our very own Capt Darleena Kaur and First Officer Simran Kaur. Congratulations to both of you. This is a proud moment not only within our own Company but for all Malaysian Sikhs. Well done. For the record Capt Darleena is the first Sikh women airline captain in Malaysia. – By Paramjit Singh (A330 senior captain with Air Asia and Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia, CAAM, authorized examiner)
